Now hiring.
UPDATE: Hired. (Thank you.)

I'm looking for someone. A first employee.

The work doesn't seem to be slowing down, and while I have a great time keeping my hands on every part of the process, I need a second set of hands (very capable hands) so that I can ease up a little and not die sooner than I should. That's where you come in. You and your very capable hands.

You'll be many things to me: a collaborator, an apprentice, a confidant, an outboard brain, an assistant, an advisor, an editor in all senses of the word.

Your grammar is impeccable. If you can write well, you can do other things well. You know your way around some production tools as well as some post-production tools. You know what a composite is, when it looks bad and why. You know how to find music and people. You make mistakes and you know why you've made them. You know how to manage your time, and you want to help me manage mine.

To be clear, I don't do this alone. On every project, many talented people come in from the outside and do what they do professionally to make everything look and feel good. So I'm not looking for you to help do their job. I'm looking for you to help do my job. Because if you do that well, my company will grow and you'll have the satisfaction of that plus money.

So don't be afraid. If you think you might be the right person for this, write an email to jobbo@sandwichvideo.com and tell me whatever you think I should know.

Thanks. I really look forward to hearing from you.
